“Diversion” Synthesizer is a versatile, high quality software synthesizer, designed for use in any genre of professional electronic music production.
Diversion takes the full advantage of modern processors to bring you
the perfect sound quality that fits standards of hardware synthesizers.
Computer Music CM173 2012: "Very full feature-set, Impeccable sound quality, Plenty of ready
to go presets, Sounds incredibly modern, Arguably unparalleled tonal
controls, Pushes current technology to the limits". Score: 9/10
Sound generation
Diversion
offers 4 oscillators with a wide range of different waveforms with a
near to zero level of aliasing. The oscillators generate sounds in
real-time by using our algorithms, which don't degrade the sound quality
at high frequencies. All waveforms have two independent parameters X
and Y allowing you to adjust the timbre of the produced sound. The
oscillators also feature such synthesis techniques as FM, RM, wave
shaping and filtering.
Since version 1.2 Diversion offers comprehensive Wavetable Editor,
which allows to load arbitrary single cycle WAV files. With new
Wavetable Editor it is possible to edit waveforms both in time and
frequency space as well as apply different effects. Since version 1.3,
Diversion provides sample playback with granular synthesis and output
audio recording.
Bus processors
Two
bus processors in Diversion allow you to transform the oscillators'
output into a wide variety of possible sounds. Each bus processor
consists of a stereo filter with lots of different modes, distortion and
LO-FI section. We have implemented many filter modes and types of
saturation stages to bring you a great armoury for creating arbitrary
patches, including popular Trance, Psy, Dub Step and Ambient sounds.
Effects
Diversion
uses two flexible FX lines for a separated processing of each bus
processor?s output. With the separated FX processing you can make lots
of layered sounds, even which has two parts located in two fully
independent sound spaces. Up to 8 effect instances can be stacked in one
FX line, which is enough to create any desired processing chain.
Oversampling
Typically, after a non-linear processing of the waveform inside the
oscillators and bus processors, digital aliasing can occur. Diversion
takes care of this by using oversampling up to 8X within a whole
processing path, excluding FX section. Models of all processing modules
in Diversion are designed using at least 2X oversampling. This allows
Diversion to achieve a perfect sound quality with an insignificant level
of aliasing.
Modulation
Many
parameters in Diversion can be modulated by 4 LFOs, 4 ADSR Envelopes, 4
MSEGs and one XY-controller, called Master Morph. These options, along
with use of the Modulation Matrix, can really breathe life into a sound.
Of course, automation and midi controllers are supported.
Arpeggiator and Trance Gate
Last
but not least, Diversion features a 32-step Arpeggiator / Sequencer and
a 16-step Trance Gate module, which turns Diversion into a full-fledged
workstation.

Polyphonic Sequencer – Works the same as the arpeggiator but all the notes are played at the same time
Rhythmic Gater – Only affects the sound amplitude.
Three buttons below the main arpeggio window determine which mode (arpeggio, poly or gate) you will be using with a simple click. The Arpeggiator also offers a lot of scope for refining the sound of
your sequences, per step you can change the all of the following
controls:

50% off “StereoSavage” by Plugin Boutique (AU/VST/AAX)
“StereoSavage” provides an innovative stereo
toolbox, combining tried and tested studio techniques with emulations of
modern and classic tools that will bring your mix to life!
Are you tired of producing boring, flat, lifeless mixes? Then look no
further… with this plugin you can finally achieve the stunning stereo
image your mix deserves!
Stereo Image Control & Creativity Plugin (AU/VST/AAX)
Designed and coded by the Credland Audio for Plugin Boutique, the unique tools of “StereoSavage” will bring your mixes to life like never before!
The StereoSavage GUI is split into five different sections that allow
you to control and be creative with every aspect of the stereo image:
Generate stereo signals from mono using the: VOX, DELAY, EXPAND and SPLIT programs.
Place sounds precisely in the stereo field with the adjustment tools: WIDTH, PAN and ROTATION.
Create movement and chorus-like effects with the LFO
Retain a solid low end with the adjustable BASS BYPASS.
INPUT/OUTPUT – Use the input and output peaks to help keep things balanced.
Also included is a comprehensive METERING SECTION
“StereoSavage” includes all of these features in a single plugin,
offering the flexibility to enhance your track with dramatic effects, or
add the perfect subtle finishing touches!
Feel The Width With the Stereo Adjustment Controls!
This might be considered the “main” module, but don’t let that detract you from the others to come!
Width – Make it wider, make it wider than wide… Or bring it in so other sounds draw focus.
With this you can either go full mono or full on -1 phase, which means
only stereo signal with nothing in the middle. This can be fun, but can
be a bit tricky to deal with in the mastering stage. Usually you will be
somewhere between the two extremes.
Pre – Move the panning before widening for super-wide auto-panning.
Rotation – Super-natural panning. This is designed to sound more natural than normal panning.
LFO – Add modulation to key controls for
movement and excitement. Use the sync to ensure all modulation happens
in time with your track. Check out the audio demos to hear this in
action. You can add an LFO to some of the parameters—Pan, Rotation,
Level, Delay, Width, Size. You have control over the LFO’s shape, rate
(synced/time), phase and amount.
Bass Bypass – Essential for maintaining a
solid low end signal by allowing the bass to be passed through the
plugin unprocessed. The gain knob can be used to compensate for
differences in level that may arise as a result of the stereo
processing. The bass bypass allows you to control the lower end of the
signal, which is crucial for a good mix. You can either completely cut
it out or just trim it back.
Effects – A Whole New World of Sound Manipulation!
This is where Stereo Savage starts to set itself apart from similar
plugs. From here you can add a specified amount of stereo width that can
be generated in 1 of 4 ways. Each has its own set of tweakable
parameters as well. So it’s like four separate devices in one!
Vox – Get that classic wide vocal sound:
huge leads or rich backing choirs. It’s also brilliant on synths,
guitars and has hundreds of other uses.
Delay – Use a simple delay on a channel to
pan or widen a sound, this is great for percussive parts. It also has a
huge benefit for club mixes where you want to pan some percussion
without making either channel quieter! This effect goes up to 40 ms
(Haas effect), so, it can even do the “outside the speaker” trick.
Expand – Add some aggressive early
reflections to make sounds stereo and engaging without adding any
unwanted movement. Works pretty much as the Roland Dimension D vintage
hardware, you can add a fixed low pass filter using the Warm button.
Split– Splits the sound up into multiple
frequency bands and pans those bands left and right. Compared with the
other three modes it is exceptionally natural sounding.
Each of these effects has an FX Amount control, so you can dial in precisely how much FX do you want to apply.
Total Control With Input Routing and A/B Comparison.
This section allows you to control what is fed into the device and
control and compare the eventual output with the original source
material. Input Routing
You can solo the left/right channels, swap them, or sum to mono.
Summing to mono means taking both the left and the right channels and
feeding them into both the left and the right together instead of
separated. The ø buttons swap the phase of the L or R channel. A/B Comparison
This is becoming more common these days, as it should. Stereo Savage can hold two states at once. They you can switch between the two on the fly to see which fits your project best. There are 33 presets to choose from which are a great place to generate some inspiration and ideas.
Metering – Adding the Final Touch To Your Masterpiece!
Metering
While a stereo imager’s goniometer is essential when dealing with stereo width, the phase correlator
is fundamental, yet most plugs dealing with the widening of sound don’t
have them. You usually have to load a second plug to do the metering
for you. Not with Stereo Savage, which has them both built right in!
Goniometer – Ultra precise goniometer for
visual display of the stereo placement of your sound. The goniometer has
two settings. A precise pixel producing display and a more general
display where the pixels of a given area are averaged and shown as
thicker lines. You can switch between the two by clicking the display
area.
Phase Correlation – Keep a close eye on this to prevent any potential phasing issues.
Input/Output – Use the input and output peaks to help keep things balanced.
Last, but not least, you can even scale the plug in as you
wish. When you have a screen full of plugins working away on your latest
mix it’s the little things like this really add StereoSavage’s appeal!
As you would have seen and heard in the examples above “StereoSavage”
is a truly comprehensive stereo imaging toolbox that can produce
everything from subtle widening to crazy over the top auto panning and
detuning/phasing.
The potential applications of this plugin are many and varied. Here are just some possible uses:
Electronica/EDM – keep your tracks exciting with crazy panning effects and sound mangling possibilities!
Cinematic Underscore – subtly widen your mix to bring out individual instruments and add real depth to the performance space.
Rock/Pop – Enhance vocals and guitars, giving them own unique place in the stereo image.
… and these are just a few of the possibilities!

Crafting the library of “Juggernaut” was no small task. Together with a team of brilliant sound designers and film, TV & game composers including, Mick Gordon (Doom, Need for Speed, Killer Instinct), Jordan Fehr (Hotline Miami, DKC Returns, Super Meat Boy), Erik Ekholm (Universal, UFC, Top Gear) Impact Soundworks crafted over 500 unique sound sources using everything from:
Vintage Analog Monsters to Modular Chains
Guitar Pedals
FM, and Wavetable Synthesis.
“Juggernaut” consists of three sound sets: Drums, FX, and Basses, spread across two Kontakt patches and an external set of stand-alone WAV files
and uses a ‘next gen’ GUI with an incredibly deep and customizable
feature set. The result is a powerful scoring tool that is truly
designed with composers in mind and we think that Juggernaut will
quickly become an essential tool in your arsenal!
550 Epic Drum Sounds and Stunning Cinematic FX!
The Drums & FX patch is built on over 550 samples (257 drums [10x RR each] and 296 fx) and contains 30 drum kit presets along with a wide range of impacts, rises, drops, textures and sweeps.
Drums within Juggernaut are organized into 8 categories. This
organization is useful if you are dragging WAV files directly into your
DAW, or if you are assembling a kit and don’t know where to start. The bold number is the # of sounds in each category:
Kick (45) – Short, bass-heavy kick drums with lots of 40-120hz punch and ‘oomph’.
Snare (35) – All manner of electronic and physically-modeled snare drums, including noise-based snares.
Thip (44) – Short, quickly-decaying sounds at a higher pitch and with mid/high frequency emphasis (i.e. hi-hats).
Splash (20) – Medium-decay open hihats, splash cymbals, and other drums full of upper-spectrum noise.
Crash (19) – Emulations of long-decay crash cymbals of various types.
Slam (23) – Full-bodied drums that lie somewhere between a snare and kick – great for big hits with punch.
Perc (54) – Toms, shakers, claps, rotos, orchestral bass drums, and ethnic drum emulations are all found here.
Tonal (17) – Short noises with a very defined pitch.
There are plenty of kits to choose from and all drums have 10 round robin variations for extra realism!
In order to use the FX patches, you simply click the little
slider button (to the right of the mixer) and you get the access to the 6
FX categories provided, these are:
Impact (92) – Powerful hits, great for downbeats or emphasizing cuts.
Reverse (37) – Sounds that gradually build in volume, useful for transitions.
Drop (40) – Synths that steadily drop in pitch, useful to bring the energy down before bringing it back.
Riser (48) – Any kind of sound that rises and builds in pitch, volume and intensity before reaching a high point.
Sweep (46) – Often tonal sounds that swell in volume, pitch or intensity, useful as transitions.
Texture (33) – Tonal sounds best used solo to establish ambience, atmosphere, and mood.
Also included in this mode are a 32 channel mixer, divided into four sections of 8 virtual mixers channels each. A different drum or FX sound can be loaded into each slot with individual tuning, levels, and pan position, allowing you build complete kits. The Bank Selectors switch underneath the mixer controls which bank of 8 channels are being edited at any time. Additionally Audition mode maps your selection across the keyboard, helping you explore each instrument category.
The FX Section contains a whole host of tools for processing
the entire kit. Each effect can be switched on and off, and all
parameters are saved with the preset. The effects included are Limiter, Exciter, Phaser, Filter, Reverb, Delay & ADSR.
50 Awesome Bass Patches for Maximum Low End Impact!
The Bass patch contains over 50 bass sources, the
sounds range al the way from chubby bass to screeching stabs and dark
arps and are divided into the following 5 categories:
Solid (10) – Sounds with little to no modulation or movement. Perfect for layering.
Mover (10) – Sounds with lots of regular or irregular motion, sweeping, and phasing, including vowel sounds.
Disto (11) – Distorted synths with significant saturation, bite, aggression and upper harmonics.
Fuzz (11) – Sounds with emphasized mid and high frequency noise and smearing, creating a ‘fuzzy’ effect.
1-Shot (11) – Sounds that do not sustain and instead decay after a short time, useful for faster sequences.
Patches are selected via the custom preset window, which also includes octave controls to knock the sound up or down by octave in pitch. A master volume dial sits to the right of this.
On top of this each patch then has access to a step/arpeggiator sequencer with more than 10 presets plus an effects area with 10 additional presets too. This gives you an incredibly flexible range of sounds from just 50 bass synths using just the presets!
With over 500 sounds and infinite tweakability “Juggernaut”
is great for but also goes far beyond epic, dark film trailers and
scores. The incredible variety of sounds included are well-suited for
many genres of music, including:
