Sound generation
Diversion
offers 4 oscillators with a wide range of different waveforms with a
near to zero level of aliasing. The oscillators generate sounds in
real-time by using our algorithms, which don't degrade the sound quality
at high frequencies. All waveforms have two independent parameters X
and Y allowing you to adjust the timbre of the produced sound. The
oscillators also feature such synthesis techniques as FM, RM, wave
shaping and filtering.
Since version 1.2 Diversion offers comprehensive Wavetable Editor,
which allows to load arbitrary single cycle WAV files. With new
Wavetable Editor it is possible to edit waveforms both in time and
frequency space as well as apply different effects. Since version 1.3,
Diversion provides sample playback with granular synthesis and output
audio recording.
Bus processors
Two
bus processors in Diversion allow you to transform the oscillators'
output into a wide variety of possible sounds. Each bus processor
consists of a stereo filter with lots of different modes, distortion and
LO-FI section. We have implemented many filter modes and types of
saturation stages to bring you a great armoury for creating arbitrary
patches, including popular Trance, Psy, Dub Step and Ambient sounds.
Effects
Diversion
uses two flexible FX lines for a separated processing of each bus
processor?s output. With the separated FX processing you can make lots
of layered sounds, even which has two parts located in two fully
independent sound spaces. Up to 8 effect instances can be stacked in one
FX line, which is enough to create any desired processing chain.
Oversampling
Typically, after a non-linear processing of the waveform inside the
oscillators and bus processors, digital aliasing can occur. Diversion
takes care of this by using oversampling up to 8X within a whole
processing path, excluding FX section. Models of all processing modules
in Diversion are designed using at least 2X oversampling. This allows
Diversion to achieve a perfect sound quality with an insignificant level
of aliasing.
Modulation
Many
parameters in Diversion can be modulated by 4 LFOs, 4 ADSR Envelopes, 4
MSEGs and one XY-controller, called Master Morph. These options, along
with use of the Modulation Matrix, can really breathe life into a sound.
Of course, automation and midi controllers are supported.

different options to manipulate the sound, all of which are tempo synced
to the host DAW:
Arpeggiator – the order of arpeggiated notes is the order in which you play them
Polyphonic Sequencer – Works the same as the arpeggiator but all the notes are played at the same time
Rhythmic Gater – Only affects the sound amplitude.

Cornucopia is the “horn of plenty” (from Latin – cornu copiae) – a symbol of abundance and nourishment.
For “Cornucopia: Strings 2“ a chamber string ensemble (6-5-4-3-2) was recorded and sampled comprising the best string players in Bulgaria – all leading players in the Sofia Session Orchestra.
The very special characteristic that makes Cornucopia stand out to other string libraries on the market is its sound. At its first release in 2013 the original Cornucopia quickly gained a huge amount of fans due to its unique, almost vintage, tone.
The strings were recorded in their real orchestral seating position (violins to the left, celli and basses to the right) in Druzhba hall – the same hall “Storm Choir” was recorded in.
The subtle natural ambience of the space brought the samples to life without compromising the tonal clarity.

With a fully sampled dynamic range from piano to forte using up to 5 mic positions, “Cornucopia: Strings 2” can be tailored to sit very well in different musical contexts.
According to the philosophy of Strezov Sampling the original Cornucopia didn’t receive a lot of post processing. However after some careful investigations single notes were tuned for the 2.0 update to ensure better playability and consistency. Overview:

So How Exactly Are the Strings Sections Divided?
The instruments and instrument sections in “Cornucopia: Strings 2” are divided into logically into Tutti and Bass sections and all articulations are instantly accessible via the Graphical User interface or MIDI keyswtiches.
Additionally you also get 2 High/Low Strings True Polyphonic Legato patches and a special bonus 4 Vln FFF Divisi Marc patch!
TUTTI (1st, 2nd Violins, Violas and Celli):
Tutti Trills – whole tone / half tone trills
Tutti Tremolo – ordinary tremolo, two dynamics
Tutti Trem Sul Pont – tremolo played near the ‘bridge’

True Polyphonic Legato With Intelligent Voice-Leading!
The original Cornucopia Strings had only full Tutti and seperate Basses articulations. Listening to the requests of users two brand new true polyphonic legato patches were added with special focus on the concept of the library. The first one consists of 1st, 2nd Violins and Violas playing in Octaves with muted strings (con sordino).
The second patch ensembles the Celli and Basses in Octaves also playing con sordino. Although all strings were recorded con sordino and the ensemble size is relatively small the captured sound turned out to be pretty massive and therefore is also perfect for Hybrid Score Productions.
Strezov Sampling’s new true polyphonic legato script not only allows you to hold down chords and continue playing, but also does intelligent voice leading when you play chords. For a detailed demonstration of this please make sure to watch the walkthrough video covering this feature in more detail.
