Morph is the latest sample pack from Audiomodern that comes in 623MB collection of samples divided into 7 categories: Melodics, Bass, Mutated Beats, Percussion, FX Textures, Synth Pads and One-Shots.
Audiomodern states it was created with a variety of synths, tape deck re-sampling, and outboard processing to achieve that lo-fi vibe. I can't agree with them more- it sounds so authentic and fresh. The thing about Audiomodern is they have a style that can't be duplicated for the most part. I have heard some sample companies try to get that glitchy, mutated, rhythmic sound but it never sounds quite as good as Audiomodern. Their beats and loops are beyond this world when it comes to their sound design approach. You hear things sampled that you would never think could be created into such a powerful catchy groove. There are more than 160 Loops and 30 One Shots in this collection. The key and tempo have been labeled and if you want to hear every 24bit wav file then watch the video below I created. If you are looking for samples that have that lo-fi, retro but with a current sound - get this! Whether you're doing ambient, chill-out, synthwave, or composing a hot underscore, you will find something here.
One other thing I need to point out, is that I took some of the wav files and imported them into Iris 2 and the almighty Omnisphere 2. I created some absolute stunning killer patches with limitless possibilities. So, sample packs can be turned into a sound of your own and something never heard before. completely differently to most other drum plugins. First you select a
beat in a given style (from) , then you can begin to modify it to sound
busier or simpler by simply moving the “Complexity Sliders”.
These Complexity Sliders are independent, so you can make
the hi hat busier, but make the kick simpler and maybe add sparse (or
busy) toms to the rhythm, too. There is also have a master slider if you want to adjust all the elements at one.
Now let’s suppose you want hi hat instead of ride. That’s easy. Just
turn off the hi hat button and click the ride button. Or maybe you’d
like toms to get involved in the rhythm. Just select it, the move the Complexity Slider until it’s playing what you want.

The Clavi D9
is probably one of the most “funky” instruments ever invented, despite
the fact that it was originally intended for classical music as its
sound is close to the hapsichord. It turns out that it was very well
suited to replace or double a rhythmic guitar and was used in many Funk
and Disco hits.
This is a 2.76GB library built for the UVI Workstation
(free) and UVI recorded every aspect of the Mark79 from both the direct
output using a state of the art DI (Universal Audio Solo 610) and also
using a pair of microphones right above the keys next to where the head

The Wurlitzer 206A very similar to a 200A except for its beige color
and built in amp/speaker (it also did not come with a tremolo). It was
designed to be paired with a 206, which is the teacher model and they
were mainly used in conservatories. The teacher had a headphone and
microphone to be able to listen to each student individually and talk to
them without others hearing them.
Once equipped with a DI output and a tremolo system (this is a very
common and easy mod with just a few components to solder on the
preexisting holes in the original circuit board) the 206A sounds
exactactly like a 200A with the exception that it also has a built in
amp that is more powerfull and has more bass than the two small front
speakers of the 200A’s. Authentic Reed Sound

Mark 79 – based on a 1979 Mark II 73 Keys Electric Piano
The first Mark II were identical to the Mark I’s in terms of sound
generation part, meaning that the hammers, hammer tips, the tines and
the amplification were the same as the late Mark I models.
That being said, there is a noticeable difference when compared to
the early Mark I models, the tines were not made of the same exact
material and ended up producing a more even sound with aslightly less
highs and a more controlled bass. The attack and sustain characteristics
changed a little as well.
All this when added to the hammer tips changes make the MarkII sound
different from an early Mark I and deliver the tones of the well known
Chick Corea “Return to forever” sound. Authentic Tine Sound

In the audio world, Convolution is the process of multiplying two
signals together or folding one audio file over the other one. The
result is a hybrid of the two original sounds, introducing a whole new
world of sound creations.
With “Galaxy X”, those two sound files are the Sources and the X-Files.
The SOURCES are sample sets especially and exclusively
recorded and tweaked for use with FX Convolution. All in all X delivers
about 15BG of source material with almost 1000 tonally playable source
key instruments, over 2000 Effect Sounds and over 5000 Loops.
The X-FILES are Impulse Responses, specifically created for FX convolution, which shape, twist, filter, reverse, deepen, morph and even destroy and rebuild the source sounds.
By the X-Engine’s X-Files a Celeste mutates into a tuning
orchestra, a bowed ventilator sinks into the resonances of a Piano, a
Sitar smashes into a clatter of glass, a tonal dance loop arises from a

“Galaxy X”, by being a virtual instrument that features both sources
and convolution files gives you some amazing opportunities to
co-ordinate them with each other. The effect of the X-FILES ranges from filtering the source to shaping, deepening, morphing or completely mutating it.
Galaxy Instruments have recorded hundreds of “real” X-Files like instrument resonances, phrases, “mistreated instruments”, voice noises or environmental noises and treated them big time for great effects on the sources.
They sampled different rooms, vintage equipment like tape delays or old turntables…. and programmed noises for filtering and shaping the sources or recorded and tweaked different loops for creating tonally playable loops.
They also reversed all kind of X-Files for creating reverse effects for every X-Source.
A Revolutionary GUI That Puts You In Control At All Times!
The easy to understand user interface for “Galaxy X” brings convolution sources and X-Files together into one virtual instrument for the first time.
This enables you to co-ordinate all sounds and aspects of FX convolution into one integrated system with an intuitive, easy, but effective user interface.
The source sounds start in the top triangle of the interface, the Sources section. The Sources
can be layered by up to three, already creating a whole bunch of
complex sources. These combined source sounds take their way
counter-clockwise to the next module.
The Pre-X-Engine prepares the sources for FX-convolution. The source can be distorted, crunched and crushed, resulting in a very different interaction with the X-File.

Sound generation
Diversion
offers 4 oscillators with a wide range of different waveforms with a
near to zero level of aliasing. The oscillators generate sounds in
real-time by using our algorithms, which don't degrade the sound quality
at high frequencies. All waveforms have two independent parameters X
and Y allowing you to adjust the timbre of the produced sound. The
oscillators also feature such synthesis techniques as FM, RM, wave
shaping and filtering.
Since version 1.2 Diversion offers comprehensive Wavetable Editor,
which allows to load arbitrary single cycle WAV files. With new
Wavetable Editor it is possible to edit waveforms both in time and
frequency space as well as apply different effects. Since version 1.3,
Diversion provides sample playback with granular synthesis and output
audio recording.
Bus processors
Two
bus processors in Diversion allow you to transform the oscillators'
output into a wide variety of possible sounds. Each bus processor
consists of a stereo filter with lots of different modes, distortion and
LO-FI section. We have implemented many filter modes and types of
saturation stages to bring you a great armoury for creating arbitrary
patches, including popular Trance, Psy, Dub Step and Ambient sounds.
Effects
Diversion
uses two flexible FX lines for a separated processing of each bus
processor?s output. With the separated FX processing you can make lots
of layered sounds, even which has two parts located in two fully
independent sound spaces. Up to 8 effect instances can be stacked in one
FX line, which is enough to create any desired processing chain.
Oversampling
Typically, after a non-linear processing of the waveform inside the
oscillators and bus processors, digital aliasing can occur. Diversion
takes care of this by using oversampling up to 8X within a whole
processing path, excluding FX section. Models of all processing modules
in Diversion are designed using at least 2X oversampling. This allows
Diversion to achieve a perfect sound quality with an insignificant level
of aliasing.
Modulation
Many
parameters in Diversion can be modulated by 4 LFOs, 4 ADSR Envelopes, 4
MSEGs and one XY-controller, called Master Morph. These options, along
with use of the Modulation Matrix, can really breathe life into a sound.
Of course, automation and midi controllers are supported.

but not least, Diversion features a 32-step Arpeggiator / Sequencer and
a 16-step Trance Gate module, which turns Diversion into a full-fledged
