Using envelope generators, polyrhythmic sequencing, granular synthesis, CV-controlled delays, comb filtering, pitch shifting, convolution reverb, Karplus-Strong delay, distortion, and waveshaping, the original organic recordings become constantly evolving cinematic textures.
Composer Fernando CaƱedo explored the percussive character of Ghost Koil through rhythmic loops, experimental processing, and the Triumph Audio Engine.
Metallic hits, springs, saws, sticks, bends, scrapes, and bowed sounds were transformed into percussion, textures, rhythmic sequences, and experimental FX.
